EV charger installation
A Level 2 charger turns overnight into a full battery. We install it with the right circuit, in the right place, without overloading your panel.
Most EV owners charge at home on a 240-volt Level 2 charger. The installation looks simple, but it depends on your panel capacity, the distance to where you park, and whatever else your home is already running.
We confirm capacity with a load calculation, recommend the charger and circuit size, and route the wiring cleanly in the garage or outside. If your panel cannot support it, we will explain the options, from load management to a panel upgrade. We also install charging for shops, rentals and small commercial properties.
What affects the scope
Every property is different, so we price from a site visit rather than a guess. These are the things that change the scope and cost most.
- Panel capacity and available space
- Distance from the panel to the charger
- Indoor garage versus outdoor or detached locations
- Charger brand and amperage
- Trenching for detached garages or parking areas

Common questions
Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?
Not always. Many homes have enough capacity, and load management can avoid an upgrade in others. A load calculation tells us for sure.
Which charger should I buy?
Most quality Level 2 chargers work well. We can install one you already have or recommend one that fits your vehicle and panel.
Can you install chargers at a business or rental?
Yes. We install charging for shops, rentals and light-commercial properties, including trenching and conduit where needed.
